Calls for Fox News Host To Be Fired After Latest Vile Comments On Donald Trump

Jessica Tarlov, a Democratic strategist and co-host on Fox News’s The Five, is under fire after making controversial remarks about former President Donald Trump during a recent appearance.
Tarlov’s comments, in which she said, “This is the chance to put the final nail in the coffin so that you don’t have Donald Trump on the ballot again,” have sparked outrage, with many on social media accusing her of using language that could incite violence.
The backlash was swift, with numerous users on the platform X (formerly Twitter) condemning her choice of words.
Critics argue that such rhetoric is particularly dangerous given the fact that Trump has already been the target of two assassination attempts within just a few months.
The former president and his supporters believe that the intense vilification of Trump by media figures and political opponents is contributing to these threats.
Investigative Journalist Laura Loomer wrote in her post of the clip, “She should be fired for this.”
Another user, Mark Ivey, added, “I don’t see why they keep her on The Five. I have to check to see if she or Harold is on every night. She’s the worst.”
Trump himself has been vocal in placing blame for the attempts on his life on President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
In comments to Fox News, Trump claimed that the continuous portrayal of him as a threat to democracy by his political opponents has emboldened extremists to target him. “Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out,” Trump said, according to a report from The Associated Press.
In July, Trump narrowly avoided being assassinated when a bullet grazed his ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Initially, Trump called for unity in the aftermath of the incident, urging Americans to come together in a social media post.
However, shortly thereafter, he resumed his sharp criticism of Democrats and continued with his fiery political rhetoric.
Investigations into the motives of the Pennsylvania gunman and a separate suspect arrested in Florida are ongoing, but Trump has made it clear that he believes the attempts on his life are politically motivated.
He has publicly blamed his political rivals for stoking the kind of hostility that leads to such violence.
The controversy surrounding Tarlov’s comments has only added fuel to the ongoing debate over how political rhetoric is impacting the nation’s volatile political climate.
