Set decades after the events of Waterworld, the world has continued to sink beneath the waves. The once-lush lands of Earth are now submerged, and humanity has been forced to adapt to life on the open seas. The "Mariner" (Kevin Costner) has become a legend, a solitary figure roaming the vast oceans in search of freedom and hope for the future.
